    Nano Bubble Water Treatment Systems

Advanced nano bubble generator systems and nanobubble technology for oxygenation in greenhouse irrigation, industrial process water and wastewater treatment. Cleaner, more stable water without chemicals.

    What are nano bubbles?

True nano bubbles are smaller than 200 nm and stay suspended in water for days to weeks. Their tiny size, high internal pressure and negative surface charge boost dissolved oxygen, improve mass transfer and reduce biofilm - without chemicals.

    Why ultrafine bubbles behave differently

    Below 200 nm

True nano bubbles are smaller than 200 nm and scatter light without being visible.

    Long residence time

Stay suspended for days or weeks instead of seconds.

    High internal pressure

Drives efficient gas dissolution and oxygen transfer.

    Negative surface charge

Reduces particle agglomeration and helps disrupt biofilm.

    Behaviour in water

    Macro & microbubbles

Rise quickly to the surface and burst within seconds to minutes.

    Nano bubbles

Neutrally buoyant, remain in the water for days to weeks.

How nano bubbles work in water

Four mechanisms that explain why nano bubble enriched water performs differently from conventionally aerated water.

    Efficient gas transfer

The very small bubble size and large surface-to-volume ratio means oxygen and other gases dissolve into the water far more efficiently than with conventional aeration, often with significantly less energy per kilo of oxygen transferred.

    Natural oxidation support

Higher and more stable dissolved oxygen levels boost aerobic microbial activity and natural oxidation, helping reduce odour, organic load and pathogens without adding chemicals.

    Improved physical separation

The negatively charged surface attracts fine particles, oils and surfactants. Contaminants attach to the bubbles and become easier to remove through flotation, filtration or downstream separators.

    Anti-biofilm scouring

Vast quantities of ultrafine bubbles continuously contact pipe walls, drip lines and tank surfaces. Their physical action helps prevent biofilm build-up and keeps recirculating systems cleaner for longer.

    Compact, scalable equipment

Our nano bubble generators are built as self-contained units that can be wheeled into place and integrated with existing water lines. The design philosophy is the same across the range: a robust cabinet, simple operator controls, pressure gauges for live monitoring, and the nano bubble generation module itself, with no chemistry or consumables in the water path.

    Different sizes for different processes

    Small units

Compact mobile cabinets for greenhouses, R&D, pilots and smaller recirculating loops. Easy to roll between locations and trial across multiple beds or tanks.

    Medium systems

Cabinet- or skid-mounted units sized for commercial greenhouses, aquaculture tanks, swimming pools, ponds and lakes. Built for continuous operation in a fixed installation and integrated with your existing water loop.

    Industrial systems

Higher-capacity configurations for industrial wastewater, aquaculture, large greenhouse operations and municipal applications, with multiple generators in parallel when needed.

    Custom-built for your process

Flow rate, gas type (air, oxygen or ozone), inlet/outlet sizing, control interface and cabinet footprint can all be configured around your existing setup. If a standard unit doesn't fit, we design one that does, in collaboration with our manufacturing partner.

    Applications

Where nano bubble technology delivers the most value.

    Greenhouses & horticulture

Improve oxygen availability, reduce stagnant zones and support healthier recirculating irrigation systems. Particularly relevant for growers managing biofilm, root-zone oxygen, algae pressure and disease risk in closed irrigation loops.

    Industrial process & wastewater treatment

For process water, utility water and biological treatment lines where oxygen transfer, biological stability and organic load management matter. Nano bubble systems support aerobic activity in difficult-to-aerate water and complement existing biological and probiotic treatment strategies.

    Recirculated wash water

For closed or semi-closed wash water systems where odour, organic load, surfactants, oil residues and unstable oxygen levels can create operational challenges.

    Pilot testing & integration

We work with customers on small-scale trials and integration studies to evaluate how nano bubble technology fits into existing treatment lines before committing to a full-scale installation.

Before & after nano bubble enrichment

Side by side comparison of source water before and after nano bubble enrichment.

    Case 01

    Source water - natural pond

Source water - natural pond - Conventional: Algae bloom, low oxygen
    Conventional
    Algae bloom, low oxygen

Stagnant water with low dissolved oxygen lets algae, biofilm and anaerobic bacteria take over the storage tank.

Source water - natural pond - With nano bubbles: Oxygen rich, clear water
    With nano bubbles
    Oxygen rich, clear water

Continuous oxygenation and natural oxidation from collapsing nano bubbles suppress algae and pathogens, keeping source water clear and stable.

    Nano bubble effect

Long lived nano bubbles raise dissolved oxygen for days and slowly release reactive oxygen species that break down organics without chemicals.
